Lots of new technologies have appeared in 2015, and 2016 looks to see a continuation of this. What will make it so? Some bleeding edge, new technologies that we can get stuck into for 2016.
Here is what we’re interesting in right now:
PHP7 – The spaceship operator should be of great use, in addition to the speed improvements!
Deep Learning in NLP – Deep learning has had huge success in image processing, but in natural language processing there has been less progress. Perhaps 2016 could be the year?
Relational database layer for Meteor/Node – We will no longer be constrained by the chaos of NoSQL. Finally, we will have some order in our lives.
Big Data, Hadoop – This allows us to process massive amounts of data in a scalable fashion, and draw insights and see connections to help fight financial crime.
